L'Oréal Infallible Pro-Matte FoundationI stated in a previous post how much I love the Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation because it feels great on the skin and gives a very luminous, natural look but lately I have been feening for something with more coverage and a matte finish. I have seen the L’Oréal Infallible Pro-Matte circling around YouTube and figured I would give it a try.

This product is exactly what I was looking for in terms of coverage. It states on the packaging that it is a medium coverage but it is build-able and can cover just about any imperfections without feeling heavy. The product is very thick in consistency compared to the Bobbi Brown one I love which is very runny which I expected from a full coverage product. It is very important to work quickly because once it sets, it will not move. This is a plus because it proves it will last all day but also a downfall because it is not very blend-able.

I was really surprised by the color selection available, especially for a drugstore foundation. I use the shade 109 Classic Tan which is more yellow based. The price is also very reasonable, I found it for about $12 at Target.

Overall, I think that the L’Oréal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation is a great buy for those with combination to oily skin and you are looking for something that will last on hot summer days and will easily conceal problem areas. It would not work great for those with more dry skin because it will cling to those dry patches. I recommend thoroughly moisturizing before applying this product for the best results.

I hope that this was helpful for those interested in trying a new foundation for a reasonable price. If you have already tried it, let me know what you thought of it in the comments below.

Everyone loves big statement jewelry in the summer it can become overwhelming and increase the amount of sweat so I like to reach for my daintier pieces. Here are some of my favorite versatile spring and summer pieces.

FullSizeRenderAlex and Ani bracelets (on the left) have really taken the world by storm. They come in either silver or gold finish but whichever you choose you can wear them with just about anything because they are slim and very simplistic. The most common are a single, thin bangle with a charm each with a different meaning. They have also released some beaded and wrapped pieces to the collection.

I recently discover Lily and Laura bracelets (on the right) while away at school and they are amazing. They are very personable and also easy to wear. If you purchase them in stores, you can mix and match colors and patterns to your liking but sometimes when you order them offline they are sold in 3 pieces for $30. The best part about making this purchase is that all the money from each purchase is sent back to the creators, a group of women in Nepal, to help them and their families.

I hope that you are able to implement these pieces into your everyday looks and find some good deals. Thanks for reading!
